The Images below show the newly refurbished dormer. cladding has been used to cover the forward and side facing cheeks of the dormer, with UPVC soffit and fascia being installed on the forward gable and sides of the dormer. It was also decided that a gutter would be installed to stop any splashing of water falling from the dormer onto the main roofline, this was to prevent dirt being spread up on to the newly installed material.

As you can see from the before and after images how much brighter and cleaner the new dormer appears. with many colours available to choose from, we carry out a large number of dormer replacements every year and can really help to boost the appearance of a house as well as the primary concern, simply keeping the weather out.

Dormer Replacement Project – Stoke Mandeville

The Mike Carroll Roofing Team recently undertook a Dormer Replacement Project – Stoke Mandeville. Full fascia and guttering replacement was carried out at the house, as well as the dormers you can see in the following photos.

The old dormers were wooden, painted dark and also heavily rotten in places. The owners asked for them to be refurbished thoroughly as they were forward facing on the house and believed it would make a considerable impact on the appearance of the house.
